*UPDATE* Note Found At Billingshurst Crime Scene
Published by the Spirit FM News Team at 6:03pm 31st July 2017.
The man leading the investigation into the death of two people in Billingshurst has told Spirit FM there was a note.
DCI Paul Rymarz revealed they found a letter of correspondence at the scene.
They're now looking into who wrote it.
The bodies were found in a house on Groomsland Drive on Christmas Day just after 9am.
A post mortem examination has confirmed that the man, Jan Tshabalala, 33, died from hanging.
We've been told it could take a number of weeks until we know the cause of death of his wife, Julia, 30.
DCI Paul Rymarz told us they're looking into why it happened:
"We have got financial investigators working as part of the investigation in order to ascertain the background of the family.
"We are looking at every possible motive that may have prompted this terrible incident."
The couple's two children, aged 6 and 4, were not believed to have been at home at the time.
They are currently being cared for by relatives.
