The Thatched House
Jim and Staff welcome you to the Thatched House in Felpham.
Built in 1778, it is believed to be the oldest pub in the village, with traditional décor, a pleasant ambience and an excellent host in Jim Driscoll. Fullers London Pride and a superbly kept Guinness are among the favourite tipples, and bar and restaurant menus provide a great choice for hungry patrons all of which are cooked on site using local sourced produce. From the classics like omelettes, ham & eggs, liver & bacon and steak & ale pie to the Saturday evening à la carte menu with dishes that have included baked avocado and crab mornay, skate with capers and black butter, chicken breast with bacon, cheese & a barbecue sauce or a succulent steak, with summer pudding or white chocolate cheesecake to finish. Two quiet en suite bedrooms provide a comfortable base for ramblers, cyclists, holidaymakers or people working in the area.
