
After 3 years of working with Crouchie on a Sunday morning, Vicky now joins Milly Luxford for their brand new Saturday show ... great music, lively banter, the Saturday Session, and more chances to be a winner!
Vicky has enjoyed a diverse professional life to date. Starting out as an actress she has appeared alongside star turns including Dawn French, Leo McKern, Alison Steadman, Roger Lloyd Pack, Dora Bryan and Toby Stephens. The roles she most enjoyed, however, were Mrs Goggins and Firefighter Penny Morris in the stage musical versions of Postman Pat and Fireman Sam respectively. Vicky is delighted to be joining the young, gorgeous and slim Miss Luxford and is not at all jealous of her new co-host's physical charms. Much.
Vicky was Press Officer at Chichester's Festival Theatre for almost six years. She has devised and directed drama workshops for children, tipped trifle over bad tempered customers as a waitress and allowed youngsters to stay up way past their bedtime as a nanny. Her dulcet tones have been heard on Spirit FM since 1997, as a presenter and also as a voiceover artist for assorted garden centres, restaurants and gentlemen's outfitters.
Vicky writes for a variety of newspapers and magazines and has written several books, including The Joy of Ex - Don't get mad, get over it! She has written song lyrics, sketches for stand-up and cabaret and endless brochure and promotional copy.She is currently writing her first novel.
Vicky lives in Chichester and is married to a radio presenter, Duncan, who she met at Spirit FM. They have a four-year-old daughter, Lily.
