Peter plays Pop! Music and memories for a Sunday afternoon as Peter plays you the best of the 80's and 90's

Peter is West Sussex born and bred. He was born in Rustington, and has lived on the outskirts of Bognor all his life (but don't mention his short-lived flat experience in the town centre, complete with a noisy gate!)

Peter became interested in radio at a young age, and was involved with Hospital Radio at St Richards in Chichester for many years. During this time, he met and interviewed many celebrities. His favourite interview was with Jeremy Beadle, who cut the interview short when asked about some of the ‘staged' clips on You've Been Framed.

Peter has also been involved in several small scale radio stations across the county in Worthing, Littlehampton, Bognor and Chichester, before joining Spirit FM at launch to present the Saturday night show in 1996. Over the years, Peter has been behind the scenes as well as being in front of the mic at Spirit FM, producing commercials and jingles together with driving the studio during outside broadcasts.

In his spare time, Peter goes to the gym a few times a week, likes to go for a cycle if the weather is nice, enjoys socialising with friends (beer is involved somewhere) and walking on the beach - he thinks the best part of coastline is between Elmer and Clymping, which is good for a walk all year yound ... and can be rewarded with a pint at The Black Horse, before the return journey!
