Mark is the ‘newbie’ to Spirit FM, despite over 25 years of experience behind the microphone … (he tells us he was only 3 when he started … ahem!)

Having spent much of his childhood on the Surrey / West Sussex border, he’s now fulfilling his dream of living and working closer to the sea, ‘Since those distant teenage days of being a sea cadet put through training at HMS Excellent in Portsmouth, I’ve hankered to be beside the seaside – now that dream’s come true’, says Mark (or ‘Chivs’ as he’s often referred to).

Over the years Mark’s been lucky enough to meet and interview some of the top names in pop – favourites include Aersosmith, Cher, Robbie Williams and Shakira (twice!)

Away from the radio station you might bump into ‘Chivs’ whilst he's on a train exploring West Sussex!
