Crouchie keeps you entertained every weekday on Drivetime (3-7pm) with everything you need great music, the latest travel information and the latest news. He also presents two hours of Soul classics - The Spirit of Soul and Motown on Saturday night.

As one of the ‘founding fathers' of Spirit FM, Ian has been at the station since its launch in 1996. He has always had a passion for local radio and loves working at Spirit - he claims to have done every shift on the station including finishing one night at 2am and coming back to do breakfast at 6am!

In the summer, Ian loves getting out and about at events where he can meet listeners and he's constantly amazing how many people recognise him before he's said a word!

He loves the West Sussex country side any time of year and his favourite view is from Bury Hill looking down across the valley to Amberley.

Over the years he has interviewed many famous faces and amongst his favourites are Comedian Rik Mayal, Moody Blues front man Justin Haywood and former Neighbours star Mark Little.

Whenever anything gets broken in the station Ian is always asked to investigate due to his knowledge of all things electrical and mechanical - but he won't touch the gas appliances, apparently he's not that clever !

When he's not on air - he's busy DIYing or doing his favourite thing - pottering!
