It’s the time of year on Spirit FM that we need you – our listeners - to help us find the local Heroes in our County!

We want to find these people and honour them at a glitzy awards evening and, thanks to our main sponsor Check-a-Trade, each and every winner will receive £200 to donate to the charity of their choice.

There are 13 different awards this year so we are bound to have one that fits with your local hero - and we all know someone don’t we? Someone who deserves to be recognised for their hard work or battles against adversity. The most important thing to remember is that your nomination really does count.

The Spirit FM Local Hero Awards don’t go to the person with the most nominations - they really do go to the most deserving entry. Just your one nomination could be enough to impress the judges.

Please give us as much information as you can in your nomination and help us recognise some true Local Heroes and help celebrate their amazing achievements.
