Help Sophie Walk
Please let me introduce you to 4 year old Sophie Nugent from Angmering ...
Sophie has cerebral palsy which leaves her unable to walk or stand on her own due to her brain giving incorrect signals to her feet leaving them permanently pointed and she is often struck down with painful spasms.
What's amazing about Sophie's condition is that she can have an operation that will allow her to walk and enjoy a pain free life ... but the operation is only available in America, so ... Let's get her there!
Sophie has been accepted by the hospital in Missouri and a ‘selective dorsal rhizotomy' has been pencilled in for July 20th.
The cost works out to £40,000 but through family savings and the generosity of local people they have already reached halfway!
So let's you and I try and raise the other £20,000 and help Sophie to walk ...
