The Cancer Research UK Race For Life

 

The Race For Life is back for 2008, and - once again - Spirit FM is proud to support the two runs in our area.

 

The Race For Life is a sponsored five kilometre walk,  jog or run, helping Cancer Research UK to continue their pioneering work to help beat cancer.The Race For Life is open to women of all ages and levels of fitness. Many women who take part do so for a personal reason; some women are cancer survivors while others take part in memory of or to celebrate the lives of loved ones affected by cancer. 

 

The Race for Life events in the Spirit FM area are:

CHICHESTER - Sunday 13th July at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum , Singleton (2pm) 

WORTHING - Sunday 20th July at Worthing Rugby Football Club, Angmering (11am)

 

The national target for this years 'Race For Life' events is around £50 million - while locally, the hope is to raise in excesss of £330,000 from these two events.
