SPIRIT FM and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting)

We often get asked when Spirit FM will be available on Digital Radio (also known as DAB). We hope the points below help to answer that question ... (2) The Government is conducting a review into the future of radio and all new digital radio multiplexes (in effect, the transmitters) have been put on hold until the review is published. (3) If you don't have DAB, don't worry as Spirit FM will remain on analogue FM for many years to come. (4) You can also listen to Spirit FM "on-line" here or by clicking on the "listen live" link at www.spiritfm.net You can find out more about the future of Digital Radio here If you have any other further questions, please get in touch here
(1) Spirit FM is currently unavailable on Digital Radio. This is because, at present, there is no digital licence to broadcast to the whole of West Sussex. The radio stations you can currently hear on DAB in some parts of the county are either part of a national licence or from other licenced areas (eg. London, Hampshire, East Sussex etc)
